	Advanced Shield Advanced rope treatment is a hydro and oleophobic flurocarbon based coating. This treatment is applied to each individual fibre providing long lasting and all round protection against wet and dirty conditions.
	Beta Shield Not all ropes need dry treatment whereas abrasion protection is important on all performance ropes. BS gives high quality yarn protection.
	Thermal Stabilisation This gives Edelrid ropes their easy handling properties. The core and sheath undergo a heat treatment cure to stabilise and harmonise the individual yarns. Cannot be removed or washed out and ensures longer lifespan for the rope.
BICOLOUR	To locate the middle of the rope the braiding spools are changed halfway through to create a different colour on each half of the rope.
