Altberg Keld

Description

2-3 season Nubuck walking boot. The Keld is one of Altbergs ‘GFit’ range of boots made specifically for feet which are wider or above average volume. The boot is made of top quality Nubuck full grain leather which will adapt to the foot. Keld is a classic 2-3 season British hiking boot designed for lower level Lakeland and Scottish Fells. The Vibram sole gives excellent support and torsional resistance for use on rough terrain. The Nubuck is more breathable in summer, but if your priority is ‘wet conditions’ treat with Leder-Gris (see notes in Nubuck guide). Once treated with Leder-Gris wax oil the upper will become more waterproof – similar to Anfibio leather.
